Mental Health Reform calls for the reinstatement of a National Director for Mental Health in the HSE

Mental Health Reform has today written an open letter to Paul Reid, CEO of HSE. The letter supports Minister Mary Butler’s calls for the reinstatement of a National Director for Mental Health in the HSE, following a review into Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in South Kerry.

Mental Health Reform has called for the reinstatement of this hugely important post due to the need for strategic overview and leadership in the improvement of access to mental health services across Ireland.

The letter is available to read by clicking here.
