National Series of Consultation Meetings

Mental Health Reform and People with Disabilities in Ireland cordially invite you to a series of consultation meetings on community mental health services. Please extend this invitation to anyone with an interest in mental health services.

The meetings are scheduled as follows:

Wed. 14th September Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge, Co. Kildare

Wed. 28th September D Hotel, Drogheda, Co. Louth

Wed. 5th October Meadowlands Hotel, Tralee, Co. Kerry

Wed. 12th October Edmund Rice Centre, Barrack’s Street, Waterford, Co. Waterford

Wed. 19th October Clonmel Park Hotel, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary

Wed. 26th October Sligo Park Hotel, Sligo.

Each meeting will begin at 10:00am and finish at 1:00pm.

This series of national meetings aims to develop a shared understanding among citizens about good quality, community-based mental health services, and the role these play in promoting good mental health.

Community-based mental health services reduce the incidence of suicide as well as reducing admissions to hospital. In these economically strained times, it is vital that people have easy access to community mental health services.

The meetings will be addressed by expert speakers and will provide a forum for honest debate on what a quality mental health service looks like. Please extend this invitation to anyone with an interest in mental health.

As numbers are limited, please confirm your attendance by calling Christine on (01) 612 1422 or by emailing RSVP@mentalhealthreform.combinedmedia.com.
