First Fortnight: “Conversation Café: Youth Mental Health In The Midwest”

COVID-19 has brought about huge changes to the way we live, with children and young people being significantly affected.

Since the crisis began, youth mental health services have reported higher levels of anxiety as well as increased demand for their services. As we continue to be confronted with COVID-19, we must ensure that the mental health needs of children and young people are being met.

We invite people across Limerick, Clare and Tipperary to take part in a conversation exploring youth mental health issues across the region. Our event will explore some of the challenges young people face in maintaining good mental health and will create a space for people to come together to look towards better mental health services and supports.  Following some insights from a panel of experts, there will be small group discussions to share thoughts and look at potential solutions for the future.
